Tracy Lutz, JD | Managing Partner & Founder

Tracy Lutz is an experienced, highly successful healthcare revenue cycle management attorney with more than sixteen years of experience in the healthcare finance and law industries. Her areas of expertise include federal and state reimbursement law, revenue cycle performance metrics and assessments including payer trends, collector productivity and staffing allocations. Ms. Lutz has worked with many of the largest for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country.

Prior to founding SHP, Ms. Lutz was a Senior Associate at a national fair market value analysis firm. In such capacity, she focused on fair market value analysis of hospital arrangements with physicians for clients nationwide, including on-call arrangements, medical directorships, co-management and physician management arrangements. Prior to that, Ms. Lutz was Operations Counsel for a sizeable not-for-profit hospital. In such capacity, she drafted, reviewed and negotiated hospital contracts and handled certain transactional matters. Prior to that, Ms. Lutz was Senior Vice President for a national healthcare receivables management company. In such capacity, she performed on-site assessments of hospital business office operations, audited hospital receivables and evaluated payer contracts.
